Just outside Agrigento on the southwest coast of Sicily one of the most incredible things we’ve seen. It’s called Scala dei Turchi. Apparently Turkish and Arab pirates used to hide behind the rock during storms. When it’s not stormy it’s a pretty nice place to swim.

I can't believe you made it down to the actual sea! Jealous, the pros of having a car. Again. We walked from Realmonte (not comfortable in the midday sun) and then got stranded at the top and had to leave to catch the one bus. Not so idyllic...
