2010. We (Sarah and Jeremy) recently left Amsterdam and relocated to Sicily, Italy. We are working on organic farms and travelling. This internet page, which we plan on updating periodically, chronicles some of the things we like, mainly, colours, food and things that involve the sun.

Catania & around

Arrival Dialogue
Sarah: Jer, what’s that glowing round object in the sky?
Jer: I’m not sure but I seem to recall I’ve seen it before a few years ago before we moved to Amsterdam.
Sarah: Do you think it’s the mafia?
Jer: Ummmm, hard to say.

Sun. Boom! Relief. First stop Catania. Communist architecture, fresh produce e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e., cafe, canoli, pizza, gelati and arancini. Welcome to Sicily.
Ps. Ain’t this Fuji Instax camera the bomb.

Is the Santa Rosalia shrine still closed? Last time we went up Mt Pellegrino to see it we weren't allowed in due to falling rocks. It's absolutely insane in there. All these weird trinkets of limbs and body parts that people leave in the hope of curing a sick relative or themselves... You have no idea how much I miss Sicily! Shall we reunited for Girls Gone Wild Sicilian adventure? Ryder... Give me your eyes! x
